About Granted
Granted is making fundraising less tedious, more accessible, and more successful for everyone.
What Granted is
Granted helps nonprofits, researchers, and small businesses find funding they're actually eligible for — and write competitive applications once they do. It pairs AI with public data: live Grants.gov and Federal Register postings, more than 7 million federal award records, and IRS filings covering 133,000+ foundations. Searching is free, and every opportunity we list links back to the funder's official posting.

Who's behind it
Granted was founded and is run by Nathan Eagle, a computer scientist and former professor at MIT and Harvard, where his research focused on using large-scale data for public good. Before Granted he co-founded and led Jana, a mobile technology company that made internet access more affordable across emerging markets. He started Granted after watching too many good organizations lose funding races to whoever could afford grant consultants.
How our content is made
Granted's grant listings, funder profiles, and research are produced with AI assistance over the public data sources above, and reviewed by humans. Research articles are published under the Granted Research Team byline, and Nathan Eagle is the editor of record for everything on this site. The full policy — sourcing, review, corrections, independence — is at /editorial-policy.
If you find an error — a dead link, a wrong deadline, a mischaracterized funder — email team@grantedai.com and it gets fixed. A funder who prefers not to be profiled here can ask for removal the same way.
