Editorial Policy

How the content on grantedai.com is researched, written, reviewed, and corrected.

How our content is made

Granted's grant listings, funder profiles, news briefs, and research articles are produced with AI assistance over public data — Grants.gov, the Federal Register, USAspending federal award records, IRS Form 990 filings, and the SBIR/STTR databases — and reviewed by humans. Automated checks re-verify listings against their official sources on a rolling basis, and every opportunity we publish links back to the funder's own posting.

Bylines and accountability

Articles are published under the Granted Research Team byline. We don't use invented author personas or fabricated expert quotes. Nathan Eagle, Granted's founder, is the editor of record for everything on this site — more about him and Granted on the about page.

Facts and sources

Deadlines, award amounts, and eligibility requirements are drawn from the cited primary source, never invented. Where a funder's own materials are ambiguous or conflicting, we link the official posting and defer to it — the funder's page is always the authority on its own program.

Corrections

If you find an error — a dead link, a wrong deadline, a mischaracterized funder — email team@grantedai.com and we'll verify and fix it promptly. A funder who prefers not to be profiled on Granted can request removal the same way.

Independence

Granted's content is not sponsored. Funders cannot pay to be listed, ranked, or covered, and inclusion in our database is determined by public data, not commercial relationships.
