Sponsored by Enterprise Technology Services, this effort builds on our commitment to thoughtful leadership in artificial intelligence, as outlined in our recent update . As part of the AI Taskforce, the Strategy Group has been developing a program designed to support experimentation, foster critical and intersectional conversations, and spur innovation across disciplines.
We are excited to launch the AI Innovation Fund, which will provide financial support for initiatives that grow technical and intellectual expertise around AI at UVM. This could include efforts such as: Exploration of tools and resources Funding will be available in two tiers: Larger proposals: $1,000–$10,000 All submissions will be reviewed by members of the University AI Taskforce to ensure alignment with institutional priorities.

The Robotics Grant Program is a grant from the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) that funds school-based robotics programs for elementary, middle, and high school students. Awarded through a competitive application process, the program provides up to $3,500 to eligible local education agencies (LEAs) in Alabama. Applicants must be public school systems submitting on behalf of schools with K–12 students. The grant supports the purchase of robotics equipment and program development aligned with AMSTI guidelines. Applications are submitted online through the AMSTI Robotics Grant portal.
