ACL Announces Funding Opportunity for Dementia-Capable Community Health Worker Programs | ACL Administration for Community Living ACL Announces Funding Opportunity for Dementia-Capable Community Health Worker Programs ACL Announces Funding Opportunity for Dementia-Capable Community Health Worker Programs Applications due Wednesday, July 30, 2025 ACL has released the 2025 funding opportunity, "Alzheimer's Disease Programs Initiative (ADPI) - Developing Dementia-Capable Community Health Worker Programs in the National Aging Network."
Cooperative agreement grants awarded under this opportunity will support the development and expansion of dementia-capable community health worker (CHW) programs embedded in local area agencies on aging or state units on aging operating as a single planning and service area. CHWs work to improve conditions for health in communities with the highest rates of disease, disability, and death.
ADPI supports dementia-capable home and community-based services for people living with dementia and their caregivers. As a result of this initiative, ACL seeks to strengthen relationships with rural and underserved communities and address barriers to care for people living with dementia and their caregivers. An informational call for prospective applicants will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 1:00-1:45 p.

NCI Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) Academic Career Excellence (ACE) Award (K32) is a grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) that funds early postdoctoral fellows from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented groups, to pursue research training in cancer-related fields.
