Vehicle Repair Grant Program | Caprw Vehicle Repair Grant Program Our Vehicle Repair Grant Program can help you with needed repairs and maintenance costs for your vehicle that you are using to maintain your current employment. Vehicle Repair Grant Program Reliable transportation helps households create stability and economic independence.
The goal of this program is to reduce the cost burden for low-income households to maintain the safety and drivability of their vehicle and, as a result, ensure their financial stability.
Our Vehicle Repair Grant Program can help pay for repairs that are required to maintain the safety and essential operation of your vehicle, so that you can have the safe and reliable transportation that is required to maintain employment and keep your household stable. We do this by offering a one-time grant that does not need to be repaid.
Applicants for the Vehicle Repair Grant Program must meet the following guidelines: The applicant must be 18 years of age or older and living in Ramsey or Washington The applicant must be currently employed and the vehicle being repaired must be required to maintain current employment The household must have a total income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline: See table here The applicant must have a valid MN driver’s license and be able to provide proof that they are the owner of the vehicle and have current insurance coverage on the vehicle The vehicle must meet the standards for the program Vehicle must be 20 years or newer Repairs must be related to the safety and/or essential operation of the vehicle If you are interested in more information or would like an application, please contact us at 651-603-5880 or FOP@caprw.
