But who helps these female self-practitioners thrive in their important line of work? Women in the field of mental and emotional support sometimes need financial help — or even grants — to expand their services, or stabilize their current business.
We at WomensNet are inspired by women who are driven to use their skills to provide mental health services to benefit their community — and who want to invest their time and passions into a purpose-driven business model. We know that women’s “invisible” work that they do in the background to help their communities can sometimes go unseen and uncredited. We see you and want to acknowledge you.
For this reason we give “Business Specific” Grants based on each month’s category — including a grant specific to women in the mental and emotional support industry during the month of May.
