Mentored Quantitative Research Development Award (Parent K25) is a career development grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and National Library of Medicine (NLM) that supports qualified scientists with advanced doctoral degrees in quantitative fields to develop research skills and expertise relevant to biomedical or behavioral research. The K25 award enables quantitative scientists — such as mathematicians, statisticians, engineers, and computer scientists — to transition their careers toward research at the interface of quantitative science and medicine. Eligible applicants must have an advanced doctoral degree in a quantitative science field and be at a postdoctoral to senior faculty level. The award is available through multiple NIH Institutes and Centers including NLM, NCI, NHLBI, NIGMS, and many others. The application deadline is May 8, 2027.
