The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to support Gondar University’s contributions to strengthening and improving the quality of HIV/AIDS services in Ethiopia. This will be done by building the capacity of the University to provide quality comprehensive HIV services at the University hospital and student clinics, and by supporting the provision of pre-service education for medical and health science students who will play a crucial role in provision of quality HIV related services and HIV program management nationwide. This FOA will also support strengthening of the existing in-service training unit at the University. The University will support and collaborate with Amhara Regional Health Bureau, the Network of Networks of HIV Positives, and other stakeholders in the implementation of HIV/AIDS related activities. This award targets the university community and the catchment area population that use the services provided by the University hospital.
