The application deadline is SECOND FRIDAY IN MAY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS; ROLLING FOR GRANTS. Only students from the high schools in our service area, including those who attend CTE (career and technical education) centers, are eligible to apply for scholarships. These high schools are Harwood Union HS, Stowe HS, Peoples Academy, and Lamoille Union HS; CTE Centers include Green Mountain Technical & Career Center, Central Vermont Career Center, and others. Scholarships are need-based and targeted to students from moderate-income families; documentation of financial need is required. Scholarships are multi-year and are renewable each semester when a 2.5 GPA is met, and transcript and schedule for upcoming classes are provided. In general, no student receives more than $6,000 over four years.Only students from the schools listed above are eligible to apply for the one-time Ready Alchemist Foundation Awards. These awards are targeted specifically for students who are not planning to attend a post-secondary institution immediately after high school. Programming grants are made prima.
