All Foundation Club members can apply for grants. However, only Foundation Club members who are current employees of a qualified educational institution can directly benefit from the grants. What are the different nomination options for a grant?
There are 3 nomination options to choose from when apply for a Meemic Foundation Club grant: Self-nomination is only available to current employees of a qualified educational institution. Educator nomination is available to all Foundation Club members. This allows the Club member, as the grant applicant, to nominate a current employee of a qualified educational institution for a grant.
School nomination is available to all Foundation Club members. This allows the Club member, as the grant applicant, to nominate a qualified educational institution for a grant. What information will I need to apply for a grant?
A complete application consists of your Account registration profile (so it’s important that your profile contains your most current contact information) and your grant nomination selection (self-nomination, educator nomination or school nomination). If you nominate an educator or a school, additional information is needed to identify the nominated party.
There may be circumstances, including our student-driven grant opportunities (like our Masterpieces grant series), where additional information is needed. This may include information like the student’s name, grade, school and age. How are grant winners selected?
We use random selection for our grant programs, except for student-driven grants (like our Masterpieces grant series), where winners are selected based on the respective judging criteria. The Robotics Grant Program is a grant from the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) that funds school-based robotics programs for elementary, middle, and high school students. Awarded through a competitive application process, the program provides up to $3,500 to eligible local education agencies (LEAs) in Alabama.
