Meet the Founding Members After graduating from the University of Wisconsin with a degree from Grainger School of Business, achieving a 4 year letter winner in Men's Basketball, a trip to the Final Four and winning the Big Ten Championship in 2002, Charlie is working as a real estate broker for First Weber Group for over 15 years running a successful team and business for his clients.

He has been involved in several charities but most of them revolve around cancer research and awareness, kids, and mentoring. After Jason and he started Hackfest to raise awareness for brain tumor research, they wanted to make a bigger impact on our youth, so they helped to create 100 Men of Dane County. Charlie, his wife Crystal and their son Grant, live in Madison.

AVP Senior Mortgage Advisor Lessing Real Estate, Compass Ryan Smith has been a Mortgage Professional since 2000 and is currently employed with Guild Mortgage Madison. He has made it his mission to personally and professionally make a positive impact on the world. He has been involved in supporting several local charities over the years and is extremely excited to be part of 100 Men of Dane County.

Jason Guttenberg has been a member of the Dane County community since 1999 when he moved to Madison to attend the University of Wisconsin. He has served on a number of non-profit boards and was also a founder of Hackfest Inc., a local brain cancer non-profit. Jason is a principal at Ace Insurance Group.

Former News 3 Anchor/Assistant News Director Ryan Behling was born and raised in Madison and is committed to bettering his community. Ryan attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison, earning his undergraduate degree and Master's in Business Administration and continues to avidly support UW athletics. Ryan has spent his entire professional career with Merrill Lynch, as a Wealth Management Advisor and Vice President.

Ryan currently serves as a Board member and volunteer for: the United Way of Dane County, Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS) and the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Advisory Board. Ryan’s passion for philanthropy was demonstrated as Chair of the Merrill Lynch Grand Gala, which raised over $4. 0 million for the Madison community.

Ryan, his wife Abby, and their daughter Elin live in Fitchburg in his childhood home. Dave has been a Loan Officer since 2001 and is currently employed at Guild Mortgage Madison. He currently is on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters.

He became involved in 100 Men of Dane County because it provides an opportunity to support many different charities. His lifetime goal is to help raise/donate $1,000,000+ for local charities.
