1033 Military Excess Property Program 1033 Military Excess Property Program Grants and Funding Levels Procurement Procedure Manual Civil Rights Complaint Procedures GSA Travel & Mileage Rates Office of Justice Program Office of Justice Program - Civil Rights 1033 Military Excess Property Program The 1033 Program enables Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA's) with apprehension and arrest authority to screen and obtain excess property from the Department of Defense (DoD).
Any LEA who is certified into this program must agree to hold the U.S. Government harmless, account for property obtained at all times, and dispose of the property in accordance with the policies, rules, and procedures outlined by the Law Enforcement Support Office (LESO). LESO Excess Military Equipment Brochure Screening this program for available equipment is conducted on-line.
Authorized screeners can search the LESO's website for equipment that is available worldwide. The only costs involved with acquiring equipment obtained are pick-up or shipping costs. State Coordinator's Agency Letterhead Email: Rebecca.
