Apply for a Grant - 11th Hour Racing In 2026, we are accepting grant applications for the following focus areas: sustainability in the marine industry and community-led ecosystem restoration projects. We review new applicants on a rolling basis throughout the year. Organizations that have previously received grant funding from 11th Hour Racing should speak with their grant manager about renewal.
Grants are typically one year in length, and we generally offer fewer multi-year grants. Typical grant awards range from $40,000 – $150,000, with an average grant size of $75,000. First-time grants to new organizations are generally smaller.
Our grant funding must be tied to a specific project, with measurable outcomes. We currently do not offer capital or infrastructure grants, or endowment funding. Please provide a summary of your proposed work, including whatever information you think is most important for us to know and best describes your effort or idea.

The September 1, 2026 revision to the Moving to Work Expansion Operations Notice (FR-5994-N-07) took effect on publication. It removes the 10 percent HAP-budget ceiling on Local Non-Traditional Activities, raises work-requirement and imputed-income safe harbors to 40 hours a week, cuts the minimum term-limited assistance period to two years, and strikes disparate impact from the impact-analysis requirement. Congress, meanwhile, just banned the next MTW cohort from doing most of it.
