Stronger Connections Grant Program (Texas) is sponsored by Texas Education Agency (TEA). This program aims to bolster mental health support services in K-12 educational institutions by providing funds that support mental health personnel and contracted providers, as well as additional services and tools to address specific, identified needs. Deafblind Graduate Certificate Grant Initiative is a grant from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) that funds tuition and fees for Texas educators pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Deafblindness through Texas Tech University. The 15-credit-hour online certificate program covers anatomy of vision and auditory systems, communication strategies, and programs and services for students with deafblindness and multiple disabilities. TEA grant funds cover tuition and required fees, though participants are responsible for books and travel costs.
