SGAUMC | 2025-26 Local Church Evangelism Leadership Grant The South Georgia Conference of The UMC 2025-26 Local Church Evangelism Leadership Grant A $1,000 grant funded by your apportionments is being offered through your district missions committee for an evangelism initiative of your congregation. Pastoral and lay leadership are asked to formulate a creative plan for outreach to the unchurched of your community.
How can your church best make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of your corner of the world? Gather evangelism focused church leadership to prayerfully and strategically formulate, design and timetable an appropriate outreach to the unchurched of your community. Submit an application (see below).
Your district lay leader and missions committee will review. Upon receipt of the application, the grants will be processed and $1000 will be direct deposited to your church’s account to fund your evangelism initiative. Implement your plan to invite others into the life of your church, making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of your community and the world.
Submit three digital photographs, a short statement of the plan’s effectiveness, and a description of the impact of the evangelistic use of the funds, noting whom you reached. Have questions? Contact Kate Peacock: [email protected] .
