gov.au/funding/find-funding/2025-26-supporting-research-translation-centres-grant-opportunity-go7552) The 2025-26 Supporting Research Translation Centres grant opportunity is intended to accelerate the objectives of NHMRC’s Research Translation Centres Initiative by supporting the Research Translation Centres to meet their strategic aims and objectives through NHMRC funding and leveraging contributions from RTC partners.

NHMRC recognises the valuable role that the 12 NHMRC-accredited Research Translation Centres play in supporting the research translation into healthcare locally – in their regions – as well as across Australia, including through their nation-wide network supported by the Australian Health Research Alliance.

The objective of the 2025-26 Supporting Research Translation Centres grant opportunity is to provide financial support to each Research Translation Centre to: * Promote engagement between researchers and end-users to improve Australian health services or health systems.

* Conduct research and research translation activities (and associated capacity/capability building) that are a priority of health services provider partners, are in alignment with the strategic objectives of the Research Translation Centres and will improve Australian health services or systems.

* Leverage further support from Research Translation Centre partners (particularly those responsible for the provision of health care) to meet partner and centre joint goals. Applications must be a joint submission from an Administering Institution and partners of a Research Translation Centre. Each Research Translation Centre may only submit one application for this grant opportunity.

The application must include a letter of support from the Research Translation Centre and participating partners. ## Where to go for assistance and help Resources are available to assist you in navigating Sapphire, such as Help (a list of frequently asked questions), how-to videos and access to the Research Help Centre.
