Community Impact - Princeton Area Community Foundation Community Impact Lorena Iturrino 2026-06-22T15:45:06-04:00 Community Impact Grants provide support to nonprofits working to address the needs of under-resourced individuals, families, and communities in our regional footprint .
The Princeton Area Community Foundation would like to thank the Burke Foundation and Johnson & Johnson (J&J) , who have partnered with us on our Community Impact Grants program. The Burke Foundation and J&J each made significant contributions to our Community Impact Fund, and they are among the generous foundations, companies and individuals who make the grants program possible.
Community Impact grants are awarded to local nonprofits working to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children, individuals, and families living in poverty. The Community Foundation plans to announce this year’s grantee partners in the fall. Grants for eligible nonprofits: Grants are awarded to nonprofits working in our regional footprint .
Our Community Impact Grant opportunity is focused on serving children, families, and communities most impacted by poverty. In 2026, there will be one cycle to apply. Eligible nonprofits in our region may apply for unrestricted funding.
If you have received funding through the Summer Initiatives grant, you still may apply for Community Impact Grants. If you have received a 2025 multi-year award from the Community Impact Grant Fund, you will not be eligible to apply in 2026.
Funding considerations will prioritize requests that address under-resourced populations in our region such as children and adolescents, low-income seniors, returning citizens, immigrants, victims of domestic abuse, and others.

Proposals should engage children in positive summer activities, encourage child participation and promote family engagement.
