2025 FSR Pilot Grant is sponsored by Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (FSR). The 2025 FSR Pilot Grant is a grant from the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research that funds small-scale and pilot research projects in the sarcoidosis field.

FSR Grants | Research Funding Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research Discovering the causes of sarcoidosis, and ultimately a cure, can be uncovered through rigorous and collaborative scientific research. Our initiatives and grants focus on collaborations which advance the understanding of sarcoidosis and address the causes of the disease, the suffering of patients, and the potential for a cure for sarcoidosis.

FSR has provided annual Research Awards, Abstract Awards, and Research Support to select programs. Clinically applied research is critical to achieving our mission and our grants have been critical is supporting many studies. Collectively we have awarded and planned for nearly $10 million in grants to support innovative research projects leading to additional millions of dollars in subsequent awards to our researchers.

FSR Established Investigator Grant The FSR Established Investigator Grant is new for 2025. This grant provides an opportunity for research investigators with an established career and commitment to sarcoidosis as demonstrated through publication history, scientific accomplishments, and extramural funding. International applicants are welcome to participate in the FSR Established Investigator Grant process.

Letter of Intent must be submitted through ProposalCentral by the end of day on December 12, 2025. FSR’s Pilot Grant began in 2018. This opportunity allows researchers to apply with an existing or new project and aims to support smaller scale or pilot research projects in sarcoidosis, which can be funded either singularly by FSR or through a partnership with additional funders.

Each proposal should feature a $100,000 project over a two-year period with up to 10% indirect costs permitted. The FSR Pilot Grant for sarcoidosis research is now accepting Letters of Intent (LOIs) for the 2026 cycle! Submit by 11:59pm EST on June 4, 2026!

The FSR Cardiac Grant began in 2022. This opportunity allows for researchers to apply with an existing or new project and aims to support smaller scale or pilot research projects dedicated to cardiac sarcoidosis, which can be funded either singularly by FSR or through a partnership with additional funders. Each proposal should feature a $100,000 project over a two-year period.

FSR Early Career Fellowship Grant The FSR Early Career Fellowship Grant provides an opportunity for early-stage investigators to develop specialized skills, gain experience within the field of sarcoidosis, and contribute directly to advancing knowledge about sarcoidosis and enhancing medical care for sarcoidosis patients.
