This grant opportunity specifically focuses on increasing capacity, supporting accreditation and addressing the needs of underserved populations. In December 2025, the OAFC voted to award the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston a grant of up to $25 million to increase access to safe, supportive recovery homes that provide people with a stable environment as they rebuild their lives and work towards long-term recovery.
