SleepTech® Award - National Sleep Foundation The National Sleep Foundation’s SleepTech ® Award recognizes the year’s most innovative achievement in sleep technology.
The SleepTech award is given in two categories: Sleep Health and Wellness, which includes products and services consumers can use as part of their daily routine for sleep and health; and Sleep Disorders and Conditions, which includes solutions that seek to improve the patient experience for diagnosis and treatment. The National Sleep Foundation’s 8th Annual SleepTech Award was announced on October 27, 2025.
Submissions must promote sleep technology applied in their product or service. Complete the application survey and submit product photos by September 25, 2026. Finalists will be notified to participate in a 15-minute presentation with a Q&A with judges.
The winner will be announced following the final round in October 2026. No cost for members of the SleepTech® Network Non-members: $500 if submitted by Friday, August 28, 2026 (Early Bird Rate) Non-members: $600 if submitted after August 28, 2026 Does my product need to be in the market to submit? Products submitted to NSF’s SleepTech Award do not need to be in market as a requirement for the award application. Pre-market or pre-launch products are eligible to apply.
What are the two categories for the SleepTech Award? The SleepTech award is given in two categories: Sleep Health and Wellness, which includes products and services consumers can use as part of their daily routine for sleep and health; and Sleep Disorders and Conditions, which includes solutions that seek to improve the patient experience for diagnosis and treatment.
Per application period, applicants can choose to enter once in each category. Can I send a product sample with my application? While not required as part of your application, applicants may choose to submit one to two small product samples (maximum size: approximately 12″x12″x12″ and 10lbs) to be reviewed during the judging process.
For logistical reasons, we can only accept small, lightweight items that can be shipped via standard parcel service. If you choose to send product samples, please ensure they arrive no later than September 25, 2026 . Product samples will not be returned.

Will I receive feedback on my application? Due to the volume of submissions, National Sleep Foundation does not provide feedback to any entrants regarding products or applications. Does my company need to be a member of the SleepTech Network to apply for the SleepTech Award?
No, membership in the SleepTech Network is not a prerequisite for applying for the SleepTech Award. View the terms and conditions for the SleepTech Award.
