Gifted and Talented (GT) Graduate Course Program funding will be provided to institutions of higher education (IHEs) that offer tuition-free graduate courses for teachers who are pursuing either endorsement or certification in GT education. Office of Assessment and Standards An eligible applicant is a public or private South Carolina IHE that currently offers or plans to offer introductory graduate courses in GT education.
The SCDE anticipates funding approximately twenty GT graduate courses under this program. September 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025 Technical Assistance Session The SCDE’s Office of Assessment and Standards provided a technical assistance webinar on July 12, 2024, to assist eligible applicants in understanding the application and how to apply for this grant.
