Criteria used to identify qualifying emerging programs include, but are limited to, New, innovative outreach methods, not previously used in SRAE New outreach activities in priority areas of the state Novel programs that use local service area organizations designed to increase sexual risk avoidance Use of the same curriculum for no more than 3 years.
Office of Student Support Non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations that can document their capacity to implement Emerging programs that promote abstinence-until-marriage program services for youth ages 10-19. The SCDE anticipates awarding one (1) grant. The award amount will be determined based on the quality of applications received and total funding requested.
