Affordable Housing Program - FHLBank Boston Affordable Housing Program In partnership with our members, the Affordable Housing Program supports the development and rehabilitation of stable and affordable rental apartments and for-sale homes throughout New England. Fostering Community Development The Affordable Housing Program (AHP) awards grants and low-cost financing to our members for affordable housing creation and preservation.
The program has led to the production or renovation more than 40,000 affordable homes since its inception in 1990. Applying for AHP Funding: Both rental and owner-occupied housing may qualify for AHP funding. Members, housing developers, and other community organizations, can learn more about income and scoring criteria, eligible uses of funding, and the AHP Implementation Plan.
