Fiber Art Now is a quarterly magazine for fiber artists. Summer 2026 is upon us, and perusing the summer issue of Fiber Art Now is the perfect way to usher in the new season. With artists from around the globe, the distinctive art is sure to surprise and delight.

Our jurors select installations created with any fiber or textile technique. It isn’t only about clothing! Wearables are functional body adornments yet can also be viewed as sculpture.
Think apparel, jewelry, and accessories such as hats, scarves, gloves, or shoes. Viewing vessel and basketry forms have you wondering what they were designed to contain? A range of these forms are created with basketry techniques while others are constructed with various fibers.
Artwork that is mounted on the wall or laid on a floor could be a quilt, a weaving, a tapestry, or a rug. But when they are three-dimensional, they surprise you with their inventiveness. Free-standing, hung from the ceiling, or displayed on a pedestal, these three-dimensional artworks enhance both interiors and public spaces.
Each issue features columns about artists who have made important contributions to the fiber art community. These grants will be awarded to individuals and groups who teach, mentor, or provide opportunities to help bring fiber art into their communities. The awards for these grants will be $1,000. Fiber Art Now partners with businesses and non-profits who serve our community, offering exclusive resources, and opportunities.
