Community Benefit Committee | AdventHealth Central Florida Community Benefit Community Benefit Committee The Community Benefit Committee serves as an advisory body under the AdventHealth Orlando Board of Trustees.
With a mission to drive meaningful change, the council evaluates and approves the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) , establishes funding priorities, and directs resources to impactful initiatives through the Community Impact Grant . By aligning community investments with identified health needs, the council fosters strategic partnerships and sustainable solutions that enhance well-being across Central Florida.
The Community Impact Grant provides an opportunity for AdventHealth to support innovative, community-driven programs that address priority health needs identified in our CHNA.
Each year, the committee uses the CHNA to inform how it collaborates with nonprofit organizations in Orange, Osceola, Seminole and South Lake counties that are working to create lasting improvements in community health and economic stability for Central Florida's residents. The 2026 Community Impact Grant application is now closed. Applicants will receive feedback in May, with final funding decisions made in August.
