Question from Pre-Application Meeting # Rec for All Programming and SEE Grant 1. Can we use outside funding to support programming? Yes, but you cannot use district grant funds on the same youth.

If you are operating at a school and you are at three different locations, how do you submit occupancy? Organization will need to provide proof of occupancy for each location. What can we use as documentation is listed in the RFA.
4. For new organization how does insurance work and when is it required? General liability is required at time of application submission.
Additional insurance is required at the time of award 5. If you are a new organization how does the audit work? If you don’t have an audit, you can submit a Proffit and Loss Statement.
6. Can DC and non-DC resident youth both participate in Rec for All program funded through the DPR grant if the grant funds are only applied to the DC Residents? Organization can have both groups in a program but only the DC youth will be enrolled in the Rec for All Program.
7. Is all the required documentation needed at the application due date? All required documents must be submitted at the time of submission.
8. Are you able to be awarded more than one grant? It is possible to be awarded more than one grant if it meets the needs of the agency.
9. How much can organization allocate on incentives to each youth and how often? This is left to the organization that is submitting the application.
10. Can we schedule a weekend where the youth can do an overnight trip to Camp Riverview? Camp Riverview is not offered under the grant program.
11. When does the grant review start? Does it start on 12/19 or when the application is submitted?
When will the final decision be made? The application will be checked for eligibility first. If the application meets the requirements, then it moves to the review phrase.
The timeline for reviews will depend on the number of applications that are received. Tentative award date is March 2 nd . 12.
Can organization apply for Programming and SEE Grant? Are they evaluated separately? Yes, organization can apply for both.
They are reviewed separately. 13. Are there certain numbers of students/weeks of programming the agency wants to see for programs to be competitive?
The number of youth is determined by the organization. 14. Can grant funds be used for staff and training to implement for the assigned demographics?
Staff and training should be outlined in the budget and narrative. 15. Can field trips be outside of the district if the program is conducted in the district?
16. Are stipends for youth OK? Yes.
It must be outline in the budget and narrative. 17. Is there a set timeline for payment?
Timeline for payment is based on the award date and will be outlined in the Notice of Grant Award. 18. Does SEE grants include outdoor recreation trips?
19. Does DPR offer professional development? If you are awarded a grant, we have partnered with the Center of Non-Profit Advancement to provide some trainings.
20. Does grantee have access to Camp Riverview? No, Grantees do not have access to Camp Riverview.
21. If you have more than one program in the same category, can you submit both applications? Organization can only submit one application per category.
