2026 Wharton Nursing Leaders Program Scholarship is sponsored by Oncology Nursing Foundation. Provides scholarships to nurse-managers aspiring to become chief nursing officers to attend the Wharton Nursing Leaders Program.

Executive Nurse Leadership Scholarship | Oncology Nursing Foundation Applications Open: June 15, 2026 Applications Due: August 15, 2026 Applicants notified via email by: September 2026 The Wharton Nursing Leaders Program, facilitated by the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Aresty Institute of Executive Education, will take place in Philadelphia, PA. Program dates are December 7 – 11, 2026.

Purpose: This scholarship provides financial support to higher-level nurse-managers who are preparing for the role of chief nursing officer (CNO), to attend the Wharton Nursing Leaders Program, facilitated by the University of Pennsylvania. The Wharton Nursing Leaders Program prepares nursing leaders to be successful in healthcare administration through the development of leadership skills and interactive small group working sessions.

Applicants for this scholarship must first apply and be selected as a participant in the program by the University of Pennsylvania. Scholarship: Up to $8,000 to cover the majority of the application fee for the Wharton Nursing Leaders Program.

To qualify for funding, applicants must be accepted to the Wharton Nursing Leaders Program prior to submitting their application for this scholarship.

Applicants must also meet two of the three following criteria in order to be eligible: Reports directly to the CNO of the organization Has multi-unit fiscal and management responsibilities Manages direct reports who have supervisory responsibility Do not wait until the final day to start your application, as a quality and competitive nomination will take time to complete. Short essays should use proper grammar, syntax, and punctuation.
