2nd Open Call of ARISE is sponsored by ARISE Middleware. This open call focuses on funding innovative Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) solutions. While the focus is HRI, projects related to flexible collaborative robots and enhanced robot functionality through multimodal HRI interactions could align with aspects of cooperative agency.

Open Call for Full Proposals - Arise Middleware 2nd Open Call of ARISE is officially open! Get your Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) solution funded The ARISE 2nd Open Call is now launched and offers a unique opportunity for your organisation to develop innovative HRI solutions and receive up to €200,000 in funding. Why should you participate?

Funding: Receive a grant of up to €200,000 per project. Support and Mentoring: Benefit from a 12-month support program designed to help you succeed. Collaboration: Work with leading experts in the field of HRI.

Innovation: Develop cutting-edge solutions that will shape the future of industry. Main Technology provider (mandatory) : An SME (including Startups) and Mid-Caps responsible for development of HRI capabilities. A second Technology provider (optional): may be an entity of any type with a technical profile; End-user (mandatory) proposing the use-case setting the needs of the HRI application.

Conditions: If the main Technology provider is an SME, the end-user may be either the same SME or another entity of any type.

If the main Technology provider is not an SME, or if there is no second technology provider, or if the second Technology provider is not an SME, the end-user has to be an SME We are particularly interested in projects that focus on: Dismantling and assembly of high-value products Complex Product Picking in industrial warehouses Flexible Collaborative robots Enhanced robot functionality through multimodal HRI interactions Fetch & carry tasks in healthcare environments HRI for improving the efficiency of workers in high precision flexible tasks HRI for improving ergonomics in high precision tasks Submission of applications starts on: 3rd of December, 2025 Application deadline: 4th of February, 2026 The recording of the 2nd ARISE Open Call webinar is now available!
