Yet research funding specifically for first responder health lags far behind the need. 360 Responder Foundation exists to close that gap. We raise funds and award grants to scientists studying for the first responder community.
"Not awareness. Research." We fund scientific research across every branch of the first responder community — because each role faces unique health and safety challenges that demand specialized study.
Funding research into carcinogenic exposure, cardiovascular strain, and respiratory health affecting those on the fireground. Funding studies on traumatic stress, sleep deprivation, and the long-term psychological impacts of policing. Dispatch & Support Personnel Research into vicarious trauma, auditory stress, and the unique psychological toll of being the unseen first responder.
Partnering with universities, hospitals, and labs to advance the science behind first responder health and safety. Funding operational research that helps agencies implement evidence-based health and safety protocols. Research bridging military and civilian first responder health, focusing on transition-related health outcomes.
