3pts Artists & Makers Impact Fund | 3pts 3pts Artists & Makers Impact Fund The 3pts Artists & Makers Impact Fund is a $3,500 award supporting U.S.-based artists and makers who create tangible objects or goods and are working to sustain and grow a business. Funding may be used for materials, equipment, workspace costs, professional development, production expenses, or other needs that strengthen an artist or maker’s practice.
Application opens: March 10, 2026 Application deadline : April 27, 2026 (11:59pm ET) Winner notified: June 9, 2026 Public announcement: June 16, 2026 Applicant Qualifications: Be 21 years of age or older Be based in the United States Have their business legally registered in the United States Be a mid-career artist with an established practice Produce a tangible object, artwork, or good Provide a history of how they’ve worked on their business, not just in their business (self-directed education and development, classes, programs, community, workshops, etc.) Have a clear vision for the future of their creative and business practice The 3pts Artists & Makers Impact Fund is an extension of 3pts’ mission to help artists and makers build sustainable, long-term creative businesses.
The award offers direct funding to mid-career artists and makers who are actively building creative businesses and need support to move their practice forward. No. The 3pts Artist and Makers Impact Fund is solely for artists, makers, and craftspeople who produce a tangible, object, artwork, or good. Food-based products and culinary crafts are not eligible. Can I save a partially completed application?

How will the winner receive their award money? The award money will be delivered via Zelle. The winner must also be able to provide a W-9 and an invoice in order to receive their prize.
Yes. As part of the 3pts mission, we look to highlight real stories of artists and makers who have built sustainable and thriving businesses around their creative practice. Select applicants’ stories will be chosen and featured on 3pts website and Instagram in order to provide inspiration and insight to others on the same journey.
What are the criteria that the winner will be chosen? Eligible applicants will be judged on overall artist profile, proven history of business development, and the vision for your creative and business practice. How long will the application take?
I work as part of a duo or collective. Can I still apply? Yes.
If you are part of a duo or collective, only one individual should submit an application on the duo or collective’s behalf. Why do I have to pay the application fee/what is it? The $10 non-refundable application fee goes toward administration fees, web hosting fees, and honorariums for jury members.
What if my work isn’t tangible? This grant is specifically for work that produces a tangible object, artwork, or good. Work that is intangible will be rejected.
What if I’m a hobbyist looking to build a business? This grant is for already established creative businesses with a proven track record of professional development and clear vision for the future. Applicants won’t be judged on the size of their business, but hobbyists just starting out are not eligible to apply.
