630 Youth Personal Support Program is sponsored by Illinois Department of Human Services. This program funds a new paraprofessional role, a Behavioral Support Worker, to provide in-home interventions to youth ages 11-17 with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and serious emotional disturbance, serious mental illness, or another behavioral health condition, and their caregivers.
The program aims to improve the youth's independent functioning and ability to remain residing at home. Eligible applicants include government, education, nonprofit, and for-profit organizations.
