M. Burton, to elevate his legacy of selfless generosity and faith in action, and to furnish charitable services that uplift individuals and strengthen our community. A.
M. Burton was a legendary philanthropist, entrepreneur, and man of God. His businesses shaped Nashville, and his generosity shaped the city’s character.
This Fund is inspired by the principles and Faith that guided his life, and we seek to honor his legacy and his ardent belief in the goodness and capabilities of others. We are driven by a set of Core Values: Benevolence: We act with compassion and generosity, seeking first to uplift others and respond to human need with love and empathy.
Service: We dedicate ourselves to serving others selflessly, putting the well-being of individuals and communities at the heart of all we do. Empowerment: We seek to impart the tools, knowledge, and opportunities individuals need as they strive to build stronger, more fulfilling lives. Faith: We are driven by faith.
While our Faith drives our actions, our faith in those we serve drives our organization. Dignity: We believe in the inherent worth of every person, treating all with respect, compassion, and fairness. Please join us as we seek to build upon the foundation and the example set forth by A.
