Accelerating Product Excellence in Innovation and for Clinical Adoption (APEx) is sponsored by National Institutes of Health (NIH). This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) solicits cooperative agreement research applications to support a multidisciplinary program focused on advancing promising strategies and products for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine (TE/RM).
APEx will consist of Resource Centers and associated Interdisciplinary Translational Projects (ITPs) in therapeutics, sensors, and diagnostics. The program aims to facilitate validation, manufacturing, and preclinical testing of TE/RM products towards regulatory approvals for first-in-human studies.
