Access to Health Care | OCCF Healthy, thriving communities are made stronger when individuals and families can prioritize their health and receive quality care without limitations like location or ability to pay. The Access to Health Care Community Grant supports the ongoing improvement and expansion of health care services for those who would not otherwise have access.

The grant range is up to $30,000. View the previous year’s Grant Guidelines* . Yes. Current grantees may reapply for additional funding if the organization has completed its Final Report for its previous Access to Health Care Community Grant. Can an organization submit a Letter of Intent or grant application for more than one project during a single grant cycle?
No, an organization may only apply for one project during a single grant cycle. Are applications submitted online? Both the Letter of Interest and Application will be submitted through our online grant portal.

A Chance to Change – $21,075 to provide accessible and affordable mental health, addiction, trauma counseling and education. Coalition of Oklahoma Breastfeeding Advocates – $15,000 to expand the Mothers & Infants in Need Lactation Program serving women who are underserved and unhoused, pregnant and post-partum and enrolled in alternative schools.
Crossings Community Clinic – $25,500 to support their free charitable clinic in providing medical, dental and vision care to uninsured adults. Curbside Enterprises – $21,000 to provide case management for clients to connect them to primary medical and mental health care. D-DENT – $10,000 to purchase essential computer equipment to update the technology infrastructure to strengthen operations and better assist patients.
Health Alliance for the Uninsured – $27,000 to provide low-income, uninsured Oklahomans with free health care services and medications. Hough Ear Institute – $25,500 to support the HoughAid Hearing Wellness program by providing free hearing aids for those who qualify. Latino Community Development Agency, Inc. – $21,000 in support of the Public Health Program for cardiovascular care for adults.
Lilyfield, Inc. – $17,000 to provide mental health services to individuals and families that support both children and their caregivers simultaneously to build protective factors, resiliency and parental capacity to enhance child and family well-being and prevent child abuse and neglect.
Magdalene House OKC – $5,000 to cover out-of-pocket healthcare expenses so residents can maintain consistent access to care throughout their healing journey. The Virtue Center – $18,000 to provide hope and accessible outpatient care for individuals and families facing addiction, problem gambling and mental health challenges.
NewView Oklahoma, Inc. – $25,500 to provide access to low-vision rehabilitation services for those who would otherwise go without care. Oklahoma Caring Foundation, Inc. – $9,000 to support the OKC Metro Caring Van program to provide immunizations for children. Oklahoma Parkinson’s Alliance – $21,000 to provide comprehensive services for patients with Parkinson’s Disease.
Oklahoma Project Woman – $25,500 to provide access to early detection of breast cancer for Oklahomans with no health insurance. OU Health – $10,000 to support the Oklahoma Children’s OU Health Super Niños Clinic to provide transportation assistance and clothing support for low-income, primarily Spanish-speaking families receiving pediatric medical services in south Oklahoma City.
ReMerge, Inc. – $30,000 to deliver medical, dental, mental health and prescription support for mothers who are justice-involved. Sisu Youth Services – $25,500 to provide youth with timely, trauma-informed mental health and behavioral health support and case management. Skyline Urban Outreach – $10,000 to provide free medical eye exams for individuals without vision insurance.
Stand in the Gap Ministries – $23,000 to expand access to trauma-informed mental health care for women who are incarcerated and justice-involved who are reentering Oklahoma communities. The Spero Project – $25,000 to provide wraparound support for our neighbors who are refugees through translation and transportation support for medical appointments.
OU College of Dentistry – $25,500 to expand access to mothers who were previously incarcerated, need restorative and prosthodontic dental care or are uninsured or Medicaid-limited A Chance to Change – $10,000 for low and no-cost options for counseling services. Calm Waters Center for Children and Families Inc. – $10,000 to expand access to grief-focused counseling services for families.

Homeless Alliance Inc. – $35,000 for a registered nurse to serve people in the Homeless Alliance Day Shelter.
Oklahoma City Ballet – $8,000 for free year-round classes for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease, arthritis and other movement disorders. Oklahoma Dental Foundation – $10,000 for oral health care and education for veterans in central Oklahoma. Parent Promise – $5,000 to purchasing postpartum and newborn recovery kits for first-time mothers.
Peaceful Family Oklahoma – $25,000 for mental health services for children affected by substance use disorders, aiming to reduce risks and promote healthier outcomes. Planned Parenthood Great Plains – $30,000 to remove cost barriers to care for patients seeking sexual and reproductive health care.
Sisu Youth Services – $16,000 for low-barrier support services, including case management and mental health resources, to empower young people for long-term success. Skyline Urban Ministry – $9,000 to provide free medical eye exams for patrons. Southern Plains Tribal Health Board – $10,250 for a sexual health education program for native high school students.
Stand in the Gap Ministries – $16,500 for a program to support women facing incarceration, focusing on mental health, child reunification and breaking destructive intergenerational cycles. The CARE Center – $25,000 for an on-site mental health program, which provides trauma-focused therapy for children who have experienced abuse.
Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America –$5,000 to hold two health fairs in collaboration with local community partners for underserved populations. Center for Children & Families – $15,000 to provide counseling services to families experiencing child abuse. Oklahoma Children’s Health Foundation – $6,300 to provide an intensive group treatment program for children with selective mutism.
Community Health Centers Inc. – $35,000 to provide Screening Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) for uninsured patients at Community Health Highland Park Family Medical Center. Crossings Community Clinic – $20,000 to support uninsured patients with the management of uncontrolled diabetes to achieve better overall health.
Health Alliance for the Uninsured Inc. – $40,000 to provide access to free prescription medications and flu shots for low-income, uninsured adults. Limbs for Life Foundation – $15,000 to provide up to six people with prosthetic limbs. Neighborhood Services Organization Inc. – $35,000 to provide 8,000 procedures to address chronic and preventative care needs.
NewView Oklahoma Inc. – $7,500 for essential low-vision services. Oklahoma Assistive Technology Foundation – $20,000 to provide no-cost durable medical equipment to Oklahomans in need.
