### Supporting DCES Career Development Through the ADCES Foundation Diabetes care and education specialists (DCESs) have been shown to be effective atimproving outcomes and increasing well-beingfor people with diabetes, prediabetes and other cardiometabolic conditions.

To continue providing members of the specialty with educational opportunities that keep their skills sharp and knowledge strong, the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists Foundation supports scholarships for members to attend a variety of educational programs including the Annual Conference.

The ADCES® Foundation also advances itsresearchinitiatives by supporting the career development of emerging leaders in diabetes care and education, the growth of the profession and the care of people with diabetes through a mentored fellowship. ### **Foundation Mission** Secure and allocate resources to support research and education initiatives that will advance the association’s mission and goals.
