This funding is administered by the Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) to provide grants and support an array of initiatives. From hands-on training to leadership development, each initiative is designed to support career growth and drive industry innovation. Talent Development Programs Receive up to $15,000 wage subsidy per apprentice or pre-apprentice to train and fill critical positions required for stability, continuity, and growth.
Incumbent Worker Training Receive up to $50,000 annually to reimburse manufacturers for half (50%) of training costs incurred to upskill their employees to meet current and emerging market demands. Receive up to $14,000 in wage subsidy for (4) summer interns - post internship openings and searching available resumes.
