Financial Assistance - Adelaide Benevolent Society We understand that a small grant can go a long way when things get tough. We have been providing small grants to help South Australian in need for over 160 years.

In 2018 our grants program was renamed, the Bill Cossey AM Grants Program, to honour the memory of Bill Cossey, a former Board Member of the Adelaide Benevolent Society whose a distinguished career in Government and private enterprise was always combined with contributing to the community. Our small grants program aims to help South Australians who could benefit from assistance during a tough time in their life.

Our grants cover items like rent, utility bills or removalists costs when fleeing domestic violence. T he Bill Cossey AM Grants Program is administered by the Wyatt Trust on behalf of the Adelaide Benevolent Society.

Bill Cossey AM and Wyatt Trust applications are considered via referral through identified program areas within organisations that provide holistic or wrap-around financial or housing related services across South Australia. If you are an approved provider and would like to discuss a grant request, please contact The Wyatt Trust at admin@wyatt. org.
