Addressing Challenges, Inspiring Philanthropy At the core of Adirondack Community Foundation, we work to create positive change across the Adirondacks through grants and scholarships in our “whole community” funding areas, primarily through Generous Acts to support basic needs, educational pathways, and economic vitality.

Our donor advised and other funds also work to ardently empower organizations in these areas, as well as arts and culture and the environment. Since our founding in 1997, we’ve distributed more than $83 million in grants and scholarship awards to nonprofits, schools, communities, and students across the region.
