Adolescent Health & Wellness - Jewish Heritage Fund Close off canvas navigation Adolescent Health & Wellness Adolescent Health & Wellness The Jewish Heritage Fund envisions Louisville as a city whose youth are mentally and physically healthy, thriving, and fully engaged in community. JHF recognizes adolescence as a critical time for investment in health and wellness.
The brain development that occurs during adolescence creates a unique opportunity for positive influence that will have a generational impact. It is a time when young people grow physically, try new adventures, think more critically, and develop more complex relationships, but they need caring adults, safe environments, and positive developmental experiences to cultivate a healthy transition into adulthood.
JHF has identified the following funding priorities to advance our vision : Capacity building and operations to improve the effectiveness of youth-serving organizations Access to health care that is accessible and adolescent-centered Ensuring adolescents have input into organizations, programs, and policies that impact their health and well-being Programming and interventions to provide Louisville adolescents the resources, skills, and supports required to launch into healthy adulthood Systems and policy change to improve adolescent health and wellness Funding Application Process JHF accepts applications by invitation.
If you would like to seek funding, please submit a Letter of Interest (LOI) through our Foundant portal. Invitations to apply are based on several factors, including alignment with JHF priorities and funds available.
