Advanced Industries Accelerator Programs The Advanced Industries Accelerator (AIA) Program was created in 2013 to promote growth and sustainability in Colorado’s advanced industries by driving innovation, accelerating commercialization, encouraging public-private partnerships, increasing access to early-stage capital, and creating a strong ecosystem that increases the state's global competitiveness.
Your business must be supporting one of Colorado’s seven advanced industries: * energy and natural resources * infrastructure engineering * technology and information If you are an angel investor or venture capitalist, learn how you can submit your investment to a qualifying advanced industries company.
Advanced Industries Annual Reports #### Advanced Industries Proof of Concept Grant This grant provides funding to help Colorado research institutions speed up applied research in advanced industries and commercialize products and services with the private sector. The grant funds pre-commercial research and commercialization preparation. Projects can receive up to $150,000.
The application is open and due August 27, 2026 at 5pm MT. Learn more about the Proof of Concept Grant #### Advanced Industries Early-Stage Capital and Retention Grant This grant helps Colorado-based advanced industries technology businesses develop and commercialize advanced technologies that will be created or manufactured in Colorado. Projects can receive up to $250,000.
