Advancement Regrants — LitNYS | Literary Arts Coaltion LitNYS Advancement Regrants The Advancement Regrant Program provides NYSCA Literature grantees with an opportunity to apply for up to $7,500 to support thoughtful development and expanded capacity within their organizations. Advancement Regrants are offered each year, with announcement in January, deadline in late spring and awards made by September.
Eligible organizations may request funds to improve managerial and financial stability; build solid foundations upon which to pursue their artistic vision; improve or institute development/planning initiatives; and extend program impact and reach by developing new audiences & readers. These grants do not support ongoing expenses or supplement existing NYSCA-funded programs. Peer panel review ensures an equitable selection process.

AE Studio Research Grants support bold high-impact ideas that can meaningfully advance AI alignment which AE Studio describes as the most urgent and underfunded research and development challenge of our time. The program funds researchers and scientists working to make advanced AI systems genuinely safe and aligned with human values. AE Studio provides financial support resources and open-source software tools to the research community. The program accepts rolling applications through their online submission portal. Research topics of interest include technical AI alignment mechanistic interpretability value alignment scalable oversight AI corrigibility and other approaches to ensuring AI systems act in accordance with human intentions. AE Studio also works on neurotechnology and brain-computer interfaces that increase human agency. This program is distinct from the Manifund AI Safety Regranting Program which operates through individual regranters directing funding pools and from the Long-Term Future Fund which focuses broadly on civilization trajectory rather than specifically on AI alignment research.
MacArthur Foundation Culture, Equity, and the Arts (Chicago) is a grant from the MacArthur Foundation that funds unrestricted general operating support for arts and cultural organizations in Chicago. The program advances racial equity and community inclusion through multi-year grants of $55,000 to $80,000 per year, typically for three years, directly to organizations with annual budgets above $1 million. Smaller organizations are supported through regranting partners.
