AE Foundation Community Grant Program The AE Foundation is opening up applications for US-based and Canadian-based non-profit organizations to apply for an AE Foundation Community Grant to support their work in their local communities. Now more than ever, it’s important to focus on the mental health and well-being of young people.
The AE Foundation strives to fund local programs which support teens and young adults, and the application should center around a program or project that directly supports this population’s mental health and well-being to empower authenticity and a better future for all. If awarded, the organization should be prepared to spend the grant funding within the next 365 days.
Proposals are accepted for the AE Foundation Community Grants program on a rolling basis. Information on upcoming review dates and expected award notification dates can be found on the AE Foundation website and application portal. Applicants will receive an email confirming that their application has been submitted after they proceed through the portal.
AE Foundation Community Grants will be up to $10,000 USD. Organizations should be prepared to be awarded partial funding depending on the circumstances. In the application, organizations should be as specific as possible for the use of the funding.
Canadian organizations who are awarded funding are paid in CAD from our donor advised fund at the Toronto Foundation. Organizations that are certified 501(c)3 nonprofits in the United States or are registered charities in Canada are eligible to apply. Individuals, corporations and other entities will not be accepted.
The proposal must show that funding will be used to support programming or goals that positively impacts the mental health and well-being of teens and/or young adults to empower authenticity and a better future for all. Organizations can apply and receive funding once per year. The organization will need to spend the funding and submit a final report before reapplying.
Reapplying for funding does not guarantee that you will be awarded. After the application deadline, the AE Foundation Grants Committee will review the application. The Committee does take into consideration if the organization has received funding from the AEO Better World Foundation, Aerie Real Foundation, or AEO, Inc. in any other capacity in that calendar year.
Organizations will be notified of the Committee decision via email, typically a month after the deadline. All communication will go through the email address provided in the grant application. If your organization is awarded an AE Foundation Community Grant, you will be required to submit a final report, due one year from the date of the grant award.
Organizations should be prepared to report on the program outcome, money spent, and should be able to provide photos and video. The AE Foundation shall interpret, apply, and administer the AE Foundation Community Grants program. The AE Foundation may request additional supporting documentation as necessary.
The AE Foundation reserves the right to suspend, change, revoke, or terminate the AE Foundation Community Grants program at any time.
No individual or organization will acquire any rights, license, ownership interest with or against the AE Foundation by reason of the establishment of the AE Foundation Community Grants program, the failure to approve a request for funds, or the suspension, change, revocation or termination of the program. CFNF Helping Today, Shaping Tomorrow Grant is a grant from the Community Foundation of North Florida that funds nonprofits addressing pressing challenges with programs and services of lasting impact in Florida's Big Bend region. Each year, CFNF awards ten grants of $5,000 each to eligible organizations. A separate Arts Nonprofit Grant Cycle awards five grants of $6,000 each for arts organizations in the same region. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations serving one or more of eleven counties including Leon, Gadsden, Jefferson, and Wakulla, with at least two years of operating history in the region.
