Community & Economic Development Tourism, Culture & Recreation Kentucky Peer Advisory Network Consultancy Project Lead the Way Grants The purpose of this program is to engage elementary, middle, and high school students in real-world problem-solving that builds technical and professional skills needed to succeed in college and/or the workforce.
This program provides funding to schools and school districts to implement or expand Project Lead the Way (PLTW) programs consisting of a series of modules, units, or courses that utilize hands-on, project-based learning.
PLTW includes career and technical education (CTE)- and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)-aligned curriculum intended to empower students to discover and explore interests; imagine and design solutions to real-world challenges; and become independent, confident problem solvers. Programs also include in-depth professional development for teachers as well as live classroom support.
Community & Economic Development Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) Offers federal grant funding for projects that help Appalachian communities that have been affected by job losses in coal mining, coal power plant operations, and coal-related supply chain industries. ARC prioritizes POWER funding for projects that will produce economic opportunities.

Aviation Equipment Grants support aviation training equipment for KY high school vocational programs and KY public postsecondary institutions. All funding must come through a partnership between an aviation program and an industry partner. Employer-education contributions to the fund are matched dollar-for-dollar by the state.
Full submission details will be posted on the KY Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) website by June 1, 2026. Cost share/match Required Public/State-Controlled Institution of Higher Education Requires an Aviation Industry Partner contribution. To apply for funding, an aviation program and an industry partner must collaborate on and submit a joint proposal.

The Robotics Grant Program is a grant from the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) that funds school-based robotics programs for elementary, middle, and high school students. Awarded through a competitive application process, the program provides up to $3,500 to eligible local education agencies (LEAs) in Alabama. Applicants must be public school systems submitting on behalf of schools with K–12 students. The grant supports the purchase of robotics equipment and program development aligned with AMSTI guidelines. Applications are submitted online through the AMSTI Robotics Grant portal.
