Summer 2026 NOFO - 2027 HOME and 2026 AHBH Snohomish County is encouraging nonprofit organizations, for-profit developers, and government agencies to submit applications to develop affordable rental housing, homeownership development, emergency bridge or shelter housing projects, and Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) operating support.
Estimated funding anticipated to be available includes $1,082,259 in HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds, $92,363 in CHDO operating funds, and $3,000,000 in Affordable Housing and Behavioral Health (AHBH) capital funds. Applications are due by 4 p. m.
on Friday, August 21, 2026. Interested applicants are required to participate in one of two Virtual Information Sessions on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, or Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Information on how to access the information sessions and application materials are located at the following link: Housing Projects FY2026 CoC Program Funding Notice The Snohomish County Office of Community and Homeless Services (OCHS) is currently soliciting Local Applications for the FY 2026 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program funding round. All applicants are required to submit a completed Local Application by the deadline: 4 p. m.
on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 Monday, June 22, 2026 . All interested applicants are encouraged to apply; for new projects, this includes organizations that have not previously applied for funding. All applicants are required to attend the applicable Online Application Workshop.

AHBH BHF Capital Funds - Program Year 2026 Snohomish County is encouraging non-profit, for-profit, local government or a federally recognized Tribe to review the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) and submit applications to improve, preserve, or create behavioral health capacity.
Projects must be located in Snohomish County and prioritize Snohomish County residents. An estimated $3 million in Behavioral Health Facilities Capital funds is available. Applications are due by 4 pm on Friday, April 10, 2026.
Interested applicants are required to attend one of two Information Sessions on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, or Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Capital Recovery Housing Interest Snohomish County intends to issue an application for funding for capital projects to create new beds/units of recovery housing in the coming months. Funds will be available for acquisition or construction activities that will create new units of recovery housing in Snohomish County.
Snohomish County will be seeking applications from entities that currently operate WQRR accredited housing and will expect that any new projects funded will be able to become WQRR accredited. More information may be found at: https://www. waqrr.
org/ Interested parties must complete and return this form by March 31, 2026, to be included in the application round. The County will notify respondents when the application is available and may provide other updates or workshops prior to opening the application. The County anticipates opening the application in the second quarter of 2026 (April, May, June).
Capital Recovery Housing Interest Form Emergency Shelter for Families RFP The Snohomish County Human Services Department is initiating this Request for Proposals (RFP) for eligible applicants to provide enhanced services for families with children who are experiencing homelessness. Eligible projects must be existing facility-based emergency shelters or motel-based shelter programs located in Snohomish County.
Applications are due no later than 4:00 p. m. on Friday, August 8, 2025.

Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice Snohomish County is inviting written proposals from qualified consultants for professional services to conduct and prepare an Update to an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice covering the Snohomish County Urban County Consortium area, outside the City of Everett, for the Snohomish County Human Services Department (HSD) / Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD).
