Grant Opportunity Affordable Housing Strategic Development Program - Department of Community Services Grant Opportunity: Affordable Housing Strategic Development Program The City and County of Honolulu is accepting grant proposals for the Affordable Housing Strategic Development Program, funded through the Affordable Housing Fund (AHF), to support the development, rehabilitation, and preservation of affordable rental housing for households earning 60% or less
of the Area Median Income (AMI) for at least sixty 60 years. Available Funding: Approximately $5,000,000 Priority Projects: Housing for extremely low-income households (30% AMI), including those transitioning from emergency shelters to permanent housing Maximum Grant Per Unit: $55,000 for AHF-qualified units Eligible Applicants: Nonprofit entities or public agencies Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference: February 7, 2025 (via Webex) Deadline for Requests
