Housing created through this program were reserved for qualified individuals receiving or eligible for Medicaid Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS). The program was administered through TSAHC’s **Texas Housing Impact Fund (THIF)**, which offers financing for the development, acquisition, or rehabilitation of affordable housing across Texas.
Texas Housing Impact Fund Guidelines Affordable Housing Partnership Guidelines AHP loans are structured as 10-year deferred forgivable debt available to qualified housing projects in Bexar, Dallas, Harris, Tarrant and Travis counties. Projects must reserve between two to five units for qualified LTSS tenants and will receive up to $75,000, per unit in financing.

At TSAHC we believe that every Texan deserves the opportunity to live in safe, decent and affordable housing.
Our programs target the housing needs of low-income families and other underserved populations in Texas who do not have acceptable housing options through conventional financial channels. All TSAHC programs are offered statewide, with special attention given to rural areas and other select target areas.
