php on line 273 The AWDF’s Small Grants Programme supports small, grassroots African women’s groups. (Most successful candidates will likely not to have access to any financial support, or meet the eligibility criteria for the AWDF’s main funding programme.) The Small Grants Programme also supports emergency issues, such as community disasters, or activities that require a rapid response.
This programme currently operates only in Ghana, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Nigeria. In order to streamline our application process, AWDF is currently accepting proposals online. We strongly recommend that you read through our application guidelines before you submit an application.

The opportunity title is now simply "Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Fields." Assistance listing 10.318 still reads "Women and Minorities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Fields" — and NIFA's own program page says the program is not funded for FY2026.
