AI & Digital Health Innovation | Advance Healthcare — Join Us AI & Digital Health Innovation Advancing AI research to revolutionize the future of digital healthcare. We believe that a Team Science approach leads to the best research development. Our researchers span 75 departments across 17 schools and colleges.
We support two active communities that provide collaborative interaction for digital health researchers interested in genetics and AI/Machine Learning. Whatever area of interest you have, we can help you find a collaboration partner to advance your research. We combine our services with the focused efforts of independent community partners that are actively collaborating on research in the digital and health AI spaces at U-M.
These communities provide forums to share health AI research ideas, foster innovation, and strengthen proposal development initiatives. Members are extremely active in their community and provide support for their peers in addition to seeking help with their own research. Our team of health data experts works closely with members to define data requests to meet their research needs.
If you need help getting data for your research project, let us know and we’ll get you started on your way! We partner with U-M Advanced Research Computing (ARC) to provide secure environments for processing and storing data for your machine learning research. These valuable resources are FREE to all U-M researchers!

Innovation Grant is a grant from the Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation that funds nonprofit organizations pursuing unique, high-impact projects that improve health and wellness in Arizona communities. This two-year award supports original initiatives with measurable real-world impact, including programs serving underserved and uninsured populations through oral health education, disease prevention, and nutritional access. Projects must demonstrate the potential to make a meaningful difference in the community and stand apart from conventional approaches. Eligible applicants are Arizona-based nonprofit organizations. Awards total $100,000 per recipient over two years. The 2026 application cycle closed October 16, 2025, with recipients notified in late 2025 and funding made available shortly after.
