They are often described as separate applications, but any real-world clinical context will have multiple AI applications that all need to be interconnected with each other and with other existing technologies need to work together as part of the complex process of making decisions that affect patients' diagnoses and treatments.
I will study the interactions between multiple AI applications in a leading national pulmonary hypertension unit, where AI is being developed for different day-to-day tasks to optimise diagnosis and treatment.
