AIoD Funding Programme: Build the Future of European AI Access funding, infrastructure, and expert mentoring to integrate your AI solutions into Europe’s leading open AI platform and deploy them with real users. AIoD Open Call 1 – Private Sector AIoD is looking for AI innovators to accelerate the adoption of trustworthy, ethical, and transparent AI.
If you have a mature AI product, this is your opportunity to integrate it into the AI-on-Demand Platform, validate your business model, and deploy your solution with real AI Adopters. Selected applicants enter a competitive, 3-stage funnel programme where: AI Providers can receive up to €60,000 in funding and AI Adopters can receive up to €15,000 . Smart Healthcare Insights Generation Develop a solution that enables real-time monitoring of the scientific medical ecosystem, extracting valuable insights from vast, fragmented healthcare datasets while overcoming technical vocabulary challenges and maintaining data governance Kubernetes-Enabled Real-World AI Solutions Develop a Kubernetes-deployed AI solution that addresses a real-world problem in health, logistics, or climate, showcasing the practical application of AI through scalable, real-time data analysis.
AI-Builder Pipeline with NER+KG Create a set of AI-Modules for AI-Builder that form modular pipelines to capture expert knowledge and provide verifiable, explainable answers through fine-tuned models, knowledge graphs, and interactive analysis.
Logical Reasoning and Memory Pipeline Develop AI modules for AI-Builder that convert human language into predicate logic statements, enabling users to query logical models with reasoning steps, while incorporating memory for continuous learning and knowledge transfer.
AI-Builder Database Refactoring Improve the performance of the AI-Builder by replacing the current dual-database setup with a single homogeneous database and a new persistence service. Eligible entities: AI Providers who are SMEs, or research organisations (single legal entities). Note: Stage 3 requires forming a consortium with an AI Adopter.
Geography: Officially registered in an European Union Member States or in an eligible DIGITAL Europe associated countries (see Guide for Applicants for clarification) Technical readiness: AI Products at TRL 7 or above. The Open Call fund s companies with innovative and impactful solutions to fully integrate into the AIoD Plat form , its Marketplace, and Business Navigator. The goal is to drive platform adoption , develop real-world u se c ases, serve as beta-testers , and accelerate the adoption of trustworthy , ethical , and transparent AI in Europe . How does the 3-stage funnel approach work?

Stage 3 select s 10 conso rtia fo r re al- world d epl oyment , cul m inating in a final Demo -Day. What is the maximum funding I can receive? AI Providers can receive up to €60,000 in total: €5,000 at Stage 1, €35,000 at Stage 2, and €20,000 at Stage 3.
AI Adopters, who join at Stage 3, can receive up to €15,000. What are the technical requirements (TRL and containerisation) for my AI product? AI Products must be at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 7 or above.
Applicants must demonstrate that their AI Product is delivered in a containerised format (e.g., Docker or equivalent) to ensure portability, scalability, and smooth integration within the AIoD Platform infrastructure. See Section 3. 6 of Guide for Applicants for details.

q=openCall . Do I need to have an AI Adopter selected when I first apply? No. For Stage 1 and Stage 2, eligible applicants are single legal entities (SMEs, mid-caps, or research organisations) acting as AI Providers.
During Stage 2, AI Providers are expected to bring customers onto the platform and submit a sub-project to deploy their solution with a specific AI Adopter, to access Stage 3. Only when submitting this sub-project, the applicants need to have a specific AI Adopter selected. What are the in-person event commitments?
There are three mandatory in-person events, taking place in Europe: Event 1 (September/October 2026) : Industry Event + Pitching session for Stage 1 participants. Event 2 (December 2026) : Industry Event + Showcasing Stage 2 integration results and pitching your sub-project. Event 3 (March 2027) : Industry Event + Showcasing the final implemented Use Cases.
Representatives from both the AI Provider and the AI Adopter are expected at Events 2 and 3. The specific dates will be communicated upon selection for each Stage. Application Process Questions How do I apply via the F6S platform?

What should I do? The AIoD Platform and its components are continuously evolving. If Business Navigator registration is currently not available for your country, you may still submit your application, provided that your registration on the AIoD Platform has been completed (Sign-up HERE ).
If this applies to your organisation, please select "I Confirm" in Question 20 and proceed with your application. Intellectual Property and Data Protection Who owns the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) of the solutions developed? You do.
Solutions developed and results achieved by the third parties belong to the third parties . Applicants remain the sole owners of their respective IPRs and retain the IPR for their solutions . How is my data protected during the application process?
Limited acts as the Data Controller for data submitted through the F6S platform . The platform's system design and operational procedures ensure data is managed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data will also be stored securely in the F6S Google Drive and in the project repository on Microsoft Azure.
Will my confidential information be kept secure? Yes. Any information shared during the application stage is treated as confidential.
Additionally, each evaluator must sign a confidentiality agreement before receiving access to applications to protect intellectual property and sensitive non-disclosed information. Selected applicants are also required to maintain project data confidentiality during implementation and for 5 years after completion.
